The Art Hotel Denver, Curio Collection by Hilton

Denver is a bustling hub for city lovers, boasting seemingly endless entertainment like world-class museums, parks, theaters and more. Soak it in at The Art Hotel Denver, Curio Collection by Hilton, an art destination all its own in the heart of downtown.

The Art is an upscale stay that reflects the artistic spirit of the Golden Triangle Creative District. In the hotel, you’ll find statues (picture a wooden horse, sculpted by artist Deborah Butterfield, peering wistfully out of floor-to-ceiling windows), colorful paintings, neon signs and other pieces of imaginative flair. Plus, the hotel’s on-site restaurant means that fresh fine dining is just a few floors up.

What makes it special?

True to its name, each level of The Art Hotel is an art exhibit, showcasing curated collections of paintings, lithographs and sculptures. Find meaning in the minimalist work of Sol LeWitt, or look up as you drop your car off at the valet and admire the twinkling LED-light display, fashioned out of more than 22,000 pieces by Leo Villareal.

The most Colorado thing about this place

You can find the hotel tucked in a famed Certified Colorado Creative District, the Golden Triangle. This means it’s right in the middle of iconic Mile High City attractions. Just a short walk from your hotel are museums brimming with Colorado art and history, Denver parks and a public library known for its whimsical, unconventional architecture and sculptures.

The Art's Museum Suite living room features a bright yellow framed painting and a plush orange chair.

Coolest amenity

We’re putting our money on FIRE Restaurant and Lounge, the rooftop spot with happy-hour deals, drinks and reservation-worthy food. They serve breakfast through dinner, so you can savor an airy mushroom omelet or dine on seared salmon with citrus-sprinkled quinoa while sipping a housemade negroni.

Room with the best view

We couldn’t narrow it down to just one. Stay in the 1 King Museum View Suite for sky-high panoramas of grassy parks, towering buildings and more downtown wonders. If getting a peek at the rugged Rockies is more your speed, check out the 1 King Mountain View Suite — you won’t be disappointed.

“What an incredible place to stay in downtown Denver! Such a beautiful, clean hotel with a great location. Make sure you check out the bar and restaurant on the fourth floor. The food and drinks were great! I won't stay anywhere else when I visit Denver.” — Jason M., Yelp
