Slackliners walk the line in Boulder Canyon
Clear Creek Canyon in Golden: Another highliner's paradise
5280 recently featured a great article about Taylor VanAllen, a record-breaking slackliner who is pursuing his sky-scraping dreams in Colorado.
The 25-year-old Morrison native has perfected the art of highlining, a type of slacklining that involves balancing on a thin band or rope suspended high above the ground. With plenty of canyons, rivers and mountainous terrain, Colorado’s topography is ideal for highlining — another extreme sport that continues to grow in the state.
We wish Taylor luck in breaking more slacklining records and thank 5280 for their continued coverage of the exciting sport.
